There are both multiplexes and independent cinemas, so you can catch all the latest blockbusters and art house movies. The city is also a world-renowned centre of culture and art with many fine galleries and museums. The star attraction is the University's Ashmolean Museum, which has a kaleidoscopic array of historic artefacts, including one of the world's finest collections from ancient Egypt.
